Terms of Service

1. The Service

Comment Shield is a software-as-a-service platform that connects to your Facebook Pages and Instagram Business Accounts to automatically detect, classify, and manage spam and other unwanted comments using AI. It provides a web dashboard where you can review moderation activity.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the business or entity linked to the connected Facebook or Instagram accounts.

3. Account & Access

You may access the Service through email login or third-party authentication (e.g., Google, Facebook). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and agree not to share access to your account.

4. Data Usage

Our Service accesses Meta Platform Data (such as Instagram comments and post metadata) only for moderation and analytics purposes. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Usage of data is governed by our Privacy Policy: https://equatalent.com/privacy-policy

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
- Use the Service to perform unlawful activities.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code.

6. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and Service content are owned by EquaTalent or its licensors. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or applicable laws. You may terminate use at any time by disconnecting your accounts and discontinuing use of the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

EquaTalent is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email or in-app. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.
